I couldn’t contain my excitement when I found out my best friend would be joining me at work. It felt like everything was falling into place in the most unexpected way. I’ve always loved working at my company, but the idea of having my best friend by my side every day made it even more exciting. I suggested to him that we bring my best friend on board, and to my surprise, he didn’t hesitate. Not only did he offer her the position, but he also invited both of us to join him on an upcoming business trip to Dubai. The opportunity to travel, to experience the city and the work environment together—it felt like something out of a dream.

We eagerly accepted the invitation, both of us excited at the prospect of combining business with pleasure.
