Through the Wrong Lens

My personal trainer really knows how to capture the perfect shot! ✨ Every time we finish a workout, he casually picks up his phone, angles it just right, and—click! The lighting is always flattering, my posture looks strong, and somehow, he manages to make me look effortlessly cool. It’s like he just gets it.

My husband, on the other hand… well, let’s just say photography isn’t his strong suit. The last time I asked him to take a picture of me, I ended up with blurry shots, weird angles, and at least one where I looked like I was about to trip over my own feet. I tried coaching him—“Hold the phone steady, maybe step back a little, watch the lighting!”—but somehow, the final result still made me wonder if he was secretly sabotaging me.

I joked about it the other day. “Maybe I should have my trainer give you a photography lesson.” My husband just laughed, shaking his head. “Or maybe you should just lower your expectations.”

The funny thing is, I love my husband, even if his photography skills are questionable at best. But still… a girl likes to have a few good pictures of herself, right? Maybe I’ll just stick to asking my trainer—at least he understands the art of the perfect shot.
