It was a conversation I never expected to have. We were sitting on the couch, casually discussing our finances when my husband leaned back, looked at me thoughtfully, and said, “You know… you could make a fortune in the adult film industry.”
I let out a short laugh, assuming it was a joke. But his expression remained serious. “I’m not kidding,” he continued. “You have the look, the confidence… you could be really successful. We could be really successful.”
I felt my stomach tighten. “You want me to sleep with other men for money?”
He shook his head. “It’s not just that. It’s an industry, a career—people do it professionally, and they make a great living. Think about it. We’re struggling financially, and this could be a way to change that. You’d be in control, choosing your projects, deciding your limits.”
I stared at him, waiting for some sign of hesitation—jealousy, doubt, anything. But instead, he smiled. “I think it could even make us stronger,” he said. “If we can handle this together, if we’re completely honest and open, nothing could break us.”
I didn’t know what to say. Part of me wanted to dismiss the idea entirely, but another part of me wondered—did he really see this as a way to bring us closer? Or was this the beginning of something that could push us apart forever?
Either way, I knew this conversation was far from over.
