Music icon Elton John, 76, experienced a fall at his villa in Nice and was hospitalized overnight. He was taken to the orthopedic department of a Monaco hospital for examination. A representative confirmed that he was discharged in good health the following morning and is now back home. The incident occurred during Elton’s summer stay in France with his family.
A source stated, “He had a small domestic accident at his villa in Mont-Boron. He was hospitalized in the orthopedic department… but was only slightly injured.” Medical scans revealed no fractures.
Elton recently concluded his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in July and has been spending quality time with his family. Despite retiring from touring, he hasn’t ruled out occasional performances.
Family is paramount for Elton, who cherishes time with his husband David Furnish and their two sons. In a letter to his sons on his 75th birthday, he wrote, “Zachary and Elijah, you two are the greatest gifts I have ever been given.”
Elton’s recovery reinforces the significance of family and his enduring dedication to music and his loved ones.
