“Reflections by the Pool”

Spread the love

It’s Sunday morning, and the sun greets me as I step outside with a warm cup of coffee in hand. After a long, exhausting week at work, this is my favorite time – slow, unhurried, and peaceful. My pool shimmers in the soft light, the water reflecting the calmness I crave.

At 52, life has taken many unexpected turns. I’m single, no kids, and while the world may see this as incomplete, I find comfort in the quiet moments like these. As I sit by the water, my thoughts wander. Sometimes, I think about the choices I’ve made, the paths I didn’t take, but mostly, I think about how far I’ve come.

There’s something liberating about being alone with my thoughts, sipping my coffee, and embracing the stillness. This moment is mine, and it’s enough.
