I quickly got out of the pool, grabbed a towel, and stormed inside. He must have sensed my anger because he bolted to his room without a word.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m a 51-year-old woman, and I\u2019ve seen and experienced a lot in life, but this\u2026 this was different. I\u2019ve always tried to have a good relationship with my stepson, especially after marrying his father, but this felt like a deep betrayal. My mind raced with questions. What was he thinking? Has he done this before?<\/p>\n<p>I confronted him later that day, calmly but firmly. His excuses were weak, and I made it clear that his behavior was completely unacceptable. My trust in him is now broken, and I feel violated in a way I never expected within my own home.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation with my husband was even harder. I felt like I was caught between protecting myself and not wanting to cause a rift in their relationship. But this isn\u2019t something I can simply ignore.
