Without a word, I turned and walked away, leaving him there by the pool. That night, I sat in my car for what felt like hours, replaying the conversation in my head, still stunned by his audacity.<\/p>\n<p>I knew then that this wasn\u2019t just about a promotion\u2014it was about respect, dignity, and standing up for myself.
