David and I used to be so close, always attentive to each other\u2019s needs, but now, it feels like we\u2019re just two people living under the same roof. The warmth and affection we once shared seem to have dwindled, leaving me feeling like I\u2019m invisible. I can\u2019t remember the last time he complimented me or even noticed when I made an effort\u2014when I dressed up, cooked his favorite meal, or tried to spark a conversation.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s as if we\u2019re coexisting in silence, going through the motions without truly connecting. Sometimes I lie awake, replaying our happiest memories in my mind, wondering what happened to the couple we used to be. I try to talk to him, to ask if he\u2019s feeling the distance too, but he seems closed off, wrapped in his own world. I miss the man who used to make me feel special, who looked at me like I was his everything.<\/p>\n<p>Our marriage feels like it\u2019s hanging by a thread, and I\u2019m struggling to hold on to hope. Part of me wonders if I\u2019m fighting for something that\u2019s already lost. But I love David, and I\u2019m not ready to give up. Maybe, if I can find a way to reach him, we can rekindle what\u2019s been missing.
