I contacted a friend who offered us a place to stay temporarily, and with that, I began to feel a faint glimmer of hope. I knew this would be a difficult journey, but I also knew I couldn\u2019t go back to a life built on lies.<\/p>\n<p>With every passing day, I grew more determined to rebuild a life where my daughters and I would feel secure and valued.
