I want us to find a way forward, but I know that will mean more than apologies\u2014it will take time, patience, and genuine actions.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been focusing on rebuilding his trust, even if it&#8217;s in small steps, showing him my commitment and remorse each day. I&#8217;ve tried to listen without defensiveness, to truly hear his pain and his anger, no matter how hard it is for me to hear. I know that forgiveness may not come easily or quickly, but I\u2019m committed to showing him that I understand the gravity of my actions.<\/p>\n<p>I realize this is the hardest journey we\u2019ve ever faced, and the road to healing may be long.
