It felt special, a little glimpse into a part of his world I rarely see. But as I watched him interact with his staff, particularly with his secretary, I couldn\u2019t help but wonder what kind of conversations they had when I wasn\u2019t there. Did they share inside jokes? Did she know things about him that I didn\u2019t?<\/p>\n<p>After lunch, I left with a strange mix of emotions. It wasn\u2019t jealousy, exactly, but curiosity. My husband was attentive, making me feel like I was the only one who mattered, but I couldn\u2019t shake the thought that this was the same man who spent long hours with his secretary, working late nights that I wasn\u2019t a part of. It left me wondering what they talked about when the office was quiet, when there were no interruptions.<\/p>\n<p>Driving home, I reminded myself that trust was a choice, and I had to trust that he chose me for a reason.
