From the moment he arrived, something just felt off. He\u2019s always been a bit distant, with a kind of energy that doesn\u2019t sit right with me. But I never thought much of it before, just chalking it up to his quiet demeanor. Now, though, with him under our roof for an extended stay, it&#8217;s becoming harder to ignore.<\/p>\n<p>At first, I tried to brush off my discomfort, telling myself that I was just being paranoid. But his behavior keeps pushing me further into unease. He lingers in the kitchen when I\u2019m preparing meals, standing a little too close for comfort, offering unsolicited advice on everything from cooking to cleaning. He doesn\u2019t respect personal space, and it\u2019s hard to shake the feeling that he\u2019s watching me more than he should be. When I walk into a room, I often catch him looking at me in a way that makes me feel like I\u2019m being scrutinized rather than simply being around family. It\u2019s not overtly inappropriate, but the way he looks at me has a weight to it, as if he\u2019s trying to read more into the situation than what is there.<\/p>\n<p>My husband is oblivious to the tension, and I don\u2019t know how to bring it up without sounding overly dramatic. I want to trust my instincts, but I also don\u2019t want to create unnecessary conflict over something that might just be in my head. I can\u2019t figure out if I should speak up or try to endure it until he leaves.
