Modeling was never part of the plan, especially at this stage of my life, but it\u2019s something that started to feel like more than just an idea\u2014it felt like a calling. When I told them about it, I had hoped for support, maybe even excitement. Instead, I was met with skepticism, dismissal, and words that stung far more than I\u2019d like to admit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re too old for this.\u201d \u201cThat\u2019s a young person\u2019s game.\u201d \u201cWhy would you waste your time?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hearing those things from someone who was supposed to be in my corner hurt deeply. I questioned myself so many times. Was I crazy for pursuing this? Was I setting myself up for failure? But no matter how much doubt crept in, the thought of walking away from my dreams hurt even more.<\/p>\n<p>I decided I couldn\u2019t live with the regret of not trying. The first steps were terrifying\u2014sending in photos, showing up to auditions, standing in front of cameras in a world filled with younger, more experienced faces. But each time, I reminded myself why I was there: for me, for my growth, and for my passion.<\/p>\n<p>Every small win, every little moment of validation, became fuel for my journey. I\u2019ve learned that sometimes you have to be your own cheerleader, your own support system. Chasing my dreams without them by my side was hard, but proving to myself that I could was worth it.
