I\u2019ve had relationships in the past, some of them meaningful, but none of them lasted. As time passes, it feels like the pool of potential partners keeps shrinking. Most of my friends are either married, in long-term relationships, or have already started families. Meanwhile, I\u2019m still navigating the dating world, trying to figure out what I want and what I need from a partner.<\/p>\n<p>When I was younger, I imagined that by this age, I\u2019d be in a stable, committed relationship, maybe even married, with a life partner to share everything with. But now, I find myself questioning what went wrong or why I haven\u2019t found that person yet. I\u2019m not necessarily looking for a fairy-tale romance, but I do crave a genuine connection, someone who gets me, who understands what I bring to the table and is willing to invest in something real.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s tough because, in some ways, it feels like there\u2019s more pressure now. I\u2019m more aware of my own needs and desires, but I\u2019m also juggling the fear that time is running out. It\u2019s not that I haven\u2019t met people, but the connections don\u2019t always seem to go beyond the surface. Maybe I\u2019ve become more selective as I\u2019ve gotten older, or maybe it\u2019s just harder to find someone who shares the same values and goals.<\/p>\n<p>I sometimes wonder if there\u2019s something wrong with me or if I\u2019ve missed my chance at love. But I know deep down that I haven\u2019t given up, and I don\u2019t want to settle for anything less than what I deserve.
