My husband insists that it\u2019s temporary and says his cousin is just &#8220;a little socially awkward,&#8221; but it\u2019s more than that. There\u2019s an edge to his presence that makes me tense up every time he\u2019s in the room.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve tried to avoid being alone with him, but it\u2019s almost impossible in our small home. He lingers in the kitchen while I\u2019m cooking, pops up unexpectedly in the hallway, and even once knocked on our bedroom door late at night, claiming he needed to \u201cask something important.\u201d That was the moment I realized I couldn\u2019t ignore this anymore.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t want to upset my husband or cause a family rift, but I also can\u2019t keep pretending everything is fine. This isn\u2019t sustainable.
