Despite our commitment to each other and the life we\u2019ve built together, he often brings up my history with other men, expressing feelings of insecurity and inadequacy. He asks questions about what they were like, how I felt about them, and even if they were better than him in certain ways. At first, I thought he was just curious or trying to understand me better. But over time, it\u2019s become clear that these questions stem from something deeper\u2014something that feels more like insecurity than mere curiosity.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve tried my best to reassure him that my past is just that\u2014my past. Those relationships didn\u2019t work out for a reason, and he is the man I chose to share my life with. Yet, no matter how much I validate him or emphasize how much I love and appreciate him, it doesn\u2019t seem to ease his concerns. His comparisons to men I dated years ago feel like an unnecessary shadow over our marriage.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s hard not to feel frustrated or even a little disheartened. I wish he could see himself the way I see him\u2014kind, loving, and more than enough. I want to support him, but I also wonder if this is a normal reaction or if it\u2019s something deeper that needs to be addressed.
