I see it in his eyes every time he looks at me\u2014like something inside him shattered, something I can never fully piece back together. The realization that I caused that pain is like a knife twisting in my chest. I betrayed the person who loved me unconditionally, who trusted me without question, and now that trust is gone.<\/p>\n<p>But I refuse to let this mistake destroy us. What we had was real, and I\u2019m not willing to walk away from it, no matter how broken things feel right now. I made a choice I deeply regret, but I\u2019m making another choice now: to fight for us. To fight for him. To fight for the life we built together, even if it feels like it\u2019s hanging by a thread.<\/p>\n<p>I know words alone aren\u2019t enough\u2014they\u2019re hollow after what I\u2019ve done. So I\u2019ve made it my mission to show him, every day, that I\u2019m committed to earning his trust back. I\u2019ve started being more transparent, sharing my thoughts and feelings even when it\u2019s uncomfortable. I\u2019ve faced his anger and sadness head-on, letting him express his hurt without running away or shutting down.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m willing to do whatever it takes\u2014whether it\u2019s giving him space, attending therapy together, or simply being patient while he decides if he can forgive me. I know I can\u2019t undo the past, but I believe in the strength of our love. I believe that if we both hold on, even just a little, we can come out of this stronger than before.
