Maybe it was the way he stood just a little too close when reviewing a report on my desk, his scent\u2014something dark and expensive\u2014wrapping around me like an unspoken promise. Or maybe it was the way he said my name, as if tasting it, savoring it, making it feel like something forbidden.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Whatever it was, it ignited something inside me\u2014something thrilling and raw, something I thought had faded long ago. I tell myself it\u2019s just a fleeting attraction, harmless and meaningless. But then I catch myself thinking about him at night, wondering how his hands would feel on my skin, how his lips might taste if I allowed myself to cross that invisible line.<\/p>\n<p>I love my husband. At least, I think I do. But this feeling\u2014this rush of excitement, this ache for something more\u2014has left me questioning everything. Who am I when I\u2019m with him?
