For years, I held on, convincing myself that if I just loved harder, if I just sacrificed a little more, things would fall into place. But love shouldn\u2019t feel like a losing battle. It shouldn\u2019t leave you exhausted, doubting your worth, or questioning your own happiness.<\/p>\n<p>The day I left, I wasn\u2019t just walking away from a marriage\u2014I was walking away from a version of myself that had settled for less than she deserved. A version of me that made herself smaller, quieter, easier to love. But I wasn\u2019t meant to be small. I wasn\u2019t meant to exist in the background of my own life, waiting for permission to be happy.<\/p>\n<p>Leaving was terrifying, but staying would have been worse. Because staying would have meant betraying myself over and over again. And I was done with that.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I look in the mirror, and I see a woman who is rebuilding, rediscovering, and reclaiming her life. She is stronger, wiser, and no longer afraid of standing alone. Because she knows she is not truly alone\u2014she has herself, and that is enough.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t regret the past; it led me here. But I no longer live there.
