He\u2019s competing with ghosts, and worse\u2014he\u2019s losing a fight that only he created.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"1167\">A strong man should stand firm in his own worth, knowing that the past does not define the present. But instead, he seems to surrender to his insecurities, allowing them to consume him. It makes me wonder\u2014is this a <strong data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1017\">submissive mindset<\/strong>? A form of weakness disguised as love? Instead of claiming his place as my husband, he places himself beneath the shadows of men who are long gone.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1425\" data-is-last-node=\"\">I can\u2019t respect a man who refuses to respect himself. Love cannot thrive in the hands of someone who clings to fear.
