I love wearing what makes me feel good\u2014whether it\u2019s a fitted dress, a stylish crop top, or a daring slit that catches the breeze just right. But, of course, my husband isn\u2019t always thrilled about it. He\u2019ll give me that disapproving look, sometimes even muttering about &#8220;modesty&#8221; or &#8220;respectability.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"475\">But honestly? Who cares?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"477\" data-end=\"954\">I dress for myself, not for anyone else\u2019s approval. Confidence is a statement, and mine isn\u2019t up for debate. If my husband has a problem with it, that\u2019s on him. I don\u2019t exist to shrink myself just to fit into his idea of what a &#8220;proper&#8221; wife should look like. If anything, it only reminds me that if I ever truly wanted to, I could find another husband in no time. Men are everywhere\u2014some would adore the way I carry myself, the way I exude self-assurance without hesitation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1300\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">I don\u2019t live my life seeking validation. I know what I bring to the table, and I refuse to dim my light just to make someone else comfortable. So, whether it\u2019s a night out with the girls or simply walking down the street, I\u2019ll wear whatever makes me feel powerful. And if that makes my husband uncomfortable?
