She decided to pursue a career in the industry and was admitted into the elite theater program at the Juilliard School. After earning her degree in 1981, she relocated to New York.<\/p>\n<p>Kozlowski acted in several off-Broadway productions, including How It All Began, to launch her acting career. Later, she was cast in minor parts on Broadway and in television productions, notably the Death of a Salesman television movie, in which she co-starred with Dustin Hoffman.<\/p>\n<p>However, moving to New York wasn\u2019t simple, as many actors will certainly agree. After Death of a Salesman was finished, she worked as a waitress, and Kozlowski then decided to move to California.<\/p>\n<p>Dustin Hoffman and she had grown close during this time, and he had even taken on the role of a mentor for her.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, New York was chilly.
