And then, a week after giving birth, it all came crashing down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bell\u2019s palsy is a neurological disorder that causes paralysis on one side or section of your face when one of the nerves that govern facial muscles stops working correctly or is injured.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-22\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1692964223279-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14132\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/recipmo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/44-min-14.jpg?w=1250&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"709\" height=\"420\" data-pagespeed-url-hash=\"3568206421\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Tiffany, a fitness teacher and martial arts enthusiast, spoke openly about her wonderful connection with Robert, revealing how he supported her during her health challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe tried to say he didn\u2019t see any difference, that he didn\u2019t see any change,\u201d she explained. \u201cHe said, \u2018No\u2026. You look fine.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Really?\u2019 My entire face has dissolved in on itself. But he was powerful and supportive.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14133\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/recipmo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/5-min-21.jpg?w=1250&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"706\" height=\"391\" data-pagespeed-url-hash=\"847829970\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>She reported the acute pain she felt after giving birth via C-section and the sagging of her face, and was promptly readmitted to the hospital, where her lower lip drooped to the point of making it difficult for her to talk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt got to the point where it was just hanging, and I\u2019d have to hold it up,\u201d Tiffany said. \u201cAnd to speak, I\u2019d have to hold my chin and manipulate my lower lip to make certain sounds.\u201d \u201cI couldn\u2019t even say \u2018Bob.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14134\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/recipmo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/6-min-13.jpg?w=1250&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"486\" height=\"714\" data-pagespeed-url-hash=\"3491809520\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>What made it more difficult was not being able to lavish attention on newborn Gia as she desired, as she explained: \u201cI couldn\u2019t give her kisses. That\u2019s what made me uncomfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I was concerned about was, \u2018What if it didn\u2019t get better?\u2019 Was my child going to be teased for having a strange-looking mother? That\u2019s the only time vanity enters the picture.
