Even the flight attendant began doubting me. \u201cAre you sure you only took one pill, ma\u2019am?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Exhausted and desperate, I collapsed on the ground before I could reach my seat. But when I opened my eyes, I saw something that made everyone feel sorry for their disbelief.<\/p>\n<p>There, in the arms of a kind-looking older woman sitting a few rows back, was my baby. I didn\u2019t want to alarm you, so I held her until someone came looking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The flight attendant immediately moved to help me, apologizing profusely. \u201cI\u2019m so sorry, ma\u2019am. We should have searched more thoroughly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The passengers who had ridiculed me moments ago now looked ashamed. The man who had shouted about his meeting muttered an apology, and the woman who mentioned the pills looked away, embarrassed.<\/p>\n<p>As I cradled my baby, tears of relief streamed down my face. \u201cThank you,\u201d I said to the kind woman. \u201cYou saved us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The woman smiled and patted my hand. \u201cIt\u2019s alright, dear. We all need a little help sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The flight attendant helped me back to my seat, and the passengers around me started to apologize for their harsh words and lack of belief. The old lady who had grumbled about security offered me a tissue and a kind word.<\/p>\n<p>From that moment on, the flight took on a different atmosphere. People were kinder, more considerate, and understanding.
