At 52, with my fiery red hair tied back and my running shoes well-worn, I feel more powerful than ever.<\/p>\n<p>Life hasn&#8217;t always been easy\u2014being a single mom to two daughters is a full-time job in itself. My girls are my world, but I&#8217;ve always believed that to be the best version of myself for them, I need to take care of me too. So, every morning, I lace up my shoes and hit the pavement, letting the rhythm of my steps drown out the noise of life&#8217;s challenges.<\/p>\n<p>As a ginger, I&#8217;ve always stood out, and even now, my hair is a vibrant testament to the fire that still burns within me. My daughters laugh, calling me their &#8220;supermom,&#8221; and I can&#8217;t help but smile knowing that despite the hardships, I&#8217;ve managed to keep that spark alive.<\/p>\n<p>Running gives me a sense of freedom, a moment of solitude where I can process everything\u2014work, parenting, and the complexities of being on my own. The world can be overwhelming, but out here, with the morning sun just starting to rise, it&#8217;s just me and the open road.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve faced my share of struggles, but each run reminds me of my strength and resilience. Every mile I cover is a testament to my determination not just to survive, but to thrive. My daughters see it too\u2014they see a mom who never gives up, who keeps pushing forward no matter what.<\/p>\n<p>After my run, I return home, greeted by the sounds of my girls getting ready for their day. I\u2019m sweaty, breathless, and completely content. I know that whatever life throws my way, I\u2019ll be ready.
