Salazar, who portrayed Al Pacino\u2019s loyal sidekick in the film, died in his sleep over the weekend at a friend\u2019s home in Brooklyn, according to his agent and close friend, Ann Wingsong.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tearsoffaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/4-31-695x1024.webp\" width=\"287\" height=\"423\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Salazar had a successful career beyond\u00a0<em>Scarface<\/em>, appearing in films like\u00a0<em>Punchline<\/em>\u00a0with Tom Hanks and reuniting with Pacino in\u00a0<em>Carlito\u2019s Way<\/em>. He was also known for his stand-up comedy, frequently performing on HBO specials and\u00a0<em>Last Comic Standing<\/em>.
