Fox<\/a>\u00a0prior to the release of the new documentary focusing on his battle with Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"311fe198f191a864c1efcdfa9efedfdf\" data-index=\"3\" style=\"float: none; margin:0px 0 0px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1782571\">\r\n<\/div>\r\n<script>(function(w,q){w[q]=w[q]||[];w[q].push([\"_mgc.load\"])})(window,\"_mgq\");\r\n<\/script>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Ryan, 61, has reportedly not been seen for some six months, having made a conscious decision in recent years to take a step back from the limelight.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/3am\/us-celebrity-news\/meg-ryan-makes-rare-public-29895727\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">As per the Daily Mirror,\u00a0<\/a>she ventured out to lend support to friend Michael J. Fox at a screening of his forthcoming production,\u00a0<em>STILL: A Michael J. It\u2019s so easy to judge. Imagine being a hater, how stupid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Turning out for the aforementioned screening, held at the Alice Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center, New York, the actress seemed to be in good spirits as she posed for pictures with the likes of Billy Murray and Elvis Costello on Michael J. Despite initially endeavoring to hide his condition, he\u2019s since become a leading figure in the fight for heightened awareness and research.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-e5c122d98172a0de73cb49728b5bea23\" class=\"newsner-e5c122d98172a0de73cb49728b5bea23 newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/news\/michael-j-fox-opens-up-about-parkinsons-and-declining-health-its-getting-tougher\/\">In a tear-jerking recent interview<\/a>, Fox candidly reflected on his own mortality, saying that his ongoing battle with Parkinson\u2019s was \u201cgetting tougher\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not gonna lie. It\u2019s gettin\u2019 hard, it\u2019s gettin\u2019 harder. It\u2019s gettin\u2019 tougher,\u201d the retired actor said. \u201cEvery day it\u2019s tougher. But, but, that\u2019s, that\u2019s the way it is. I mean, you know, who do I see about that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that he recently had spinal surgery after a tumor was found on his spine. While it was benign, it affected his ability to walk, and he was injured after a fall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[I] broke this arm, and I broke this arm, I broke this elbow. I broke my face.
