My Standards, My Strength

I am Lisa, 50 years old, and I’ve been single for the last few years. Not because I haven’t had opportunities, but because I refuse to settle for anything less than what I deserve. Over the years, I’ve come to understand that a relationship should be a source of joy and growth, not something that makes me feel smaller or takes away from the person I’ve become. I’ve spent too long building my confidence and sense of self to throw it away for someone who doesn’t see my value. I know my worth, and I’m not lowering my standards just to fill a void. When the right person comes along, they’ll only add to the amazing life I’ve already created, and until then, I’m happy and fulfilled as I am.
