One of my favorite traditions with my single friends is our movie marathon and pizza nights. It started as a casual plan, something we did once in a while when none of us had dates or plans. But over time, it turned into a regular event—our little escape from the world where we could relax, laugh, and indulge in good food and even better conversation.
Last weekend was one of those perfect nights. We gathered at my place, each of us bringing our favorite snacks and drinks. The smell of fresh pizza filled the room as we settled in for a marathon of classic rom-coms and comedies. Between movies, we’d pause to talk about everything—our love lives (or lack thereof), work dramas, and our latest travel plans.
What I love most about these nights is the ease and comfort they bring. There’s no pressure to be anything but ourselves, no need to impress anyone. We’re just a group of friends, single and happy, enjoying each other’s company. These moments remind me that while romantic relationships may come and go, the bond I share with my friends is a constant source of joy.
