One evening, as we were relaxing in the living room, my husband turned to me with a thoughtful expression. “You know,” he began, “I think you’d be amazing at writing romance or even steamy fiction. You’ve always had such a way with words, and I bet people would love your stories.”
I raised an eyebrow at him, half-laughing at the suggestion, but he was serious. “Think about it,” he said, leaning forward with excitement. “You’ve got such a vivid imagination, and you understand relationships better than anyone I know. Whether it’s exploring love, intimacy, or even the challenges couples face, I think your writing could really resonate with people.”
He wasn’t done yet. “Or,” he added, “what about a podcast? You’ve got such a soothing, relatable voice. You could talk about relationships, intimacy, and all the little things people are too shy to ask about. I think you’d be amazing at creating a space where people feel seen and understood.”
The more he spoke, the more the idea began to spark something inside me. Writing or hosting a podcast wouldn’t just be a creative outlet; it could be a way to connect with others and share stories that inspire, entertain, or even help people.
What made it even more appealing was how much he believed in me. He wasn’t just throwing out ideas to keep me busy—he genuinely saw this as a way for me to express myself and tap into something meaningful. “You’ve got something unique to share,” he said. “And I can’t wait to see what you create.”
Now, I can’t stop thinking about it. Maybe it’s time to put pen to paper—or turn on the microphone—and see where this journey takes me.
