At 65, as a single mom living on my own, I decided it was time to stop dreaming and start doing. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep passion for modeling. Growing up, I’d admire the confident women in magazines, wishing I could one day express myself the way they did—through the art of posing, capturing raw emotion and beauty. Life, however, had other plans. Between raising my children on my own and navigating the ups and downs of motherhood, my dreams took a backseat.
But now, with my kids grown and carving their own paths, I realized I finally had the space to focus on myself. So, I took the leap into a world I’d always admired. Starting a photo modeling career at my age was daunting. I knew people might raise their eyebrows, whisper behind my back, or question my choices—especially because I love posing in lingerie. But those whispers don’t matter to me anymore.
Posing in front of the camera makes me feel powerful, alive, and completely in tune with myself. It’s not about seeking validation; it’s about reclaiming my identity and embracing the confidence I’ve worked so hard to find. Each photo I take is a reminder that it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
Judgment will always exist, but I’ve learned that the only approval I need is my own. Life is too short to hide behind fear or societal expectations. This is my time, and I’m unapologetically embracing it.
