Shania Twain: A Pop Star Who Overcame Adversity

Renowned Canadian singer-songwriter and best-selling female country music artist Shania Twain has an incredible tale of overcoming hardship. She feels that her will to overcome her suffering and misfortunes define who she is instead of the pain and sufferings she went through. When Twain’s mother and stepfather perished in a vehicle accident, tragedy rocked her life. She gave up her dreams of becoming a singer to take on the role of caring for her younger brothers. But destiny had other ideas for her.

Twain gives back nowadays by utilizing her platform and notoriety. By means of her nonprofit, Shania Kids Can, she offers food and a secure and caring atmosphere to underprivileged kids. Twain has always been motivated to feed the underprivileged because she wants to improve the lives of people who encounter obstacles similar to the ones she overcome.

Twain, who lives with her family on a farm in Las Vegas, considers herself lucky and thanks God for the life she has now. From a challenging upbringing, she has overcome many obstacles to achieve incredible achievement and inspire hope in others.
