I met the manager for the first time and my husband was behind me, but the boss decided to accept me and let my husband wait until he could explain everything in detail, accurately and beautifully.

As I settled into the office chair across from my new manager, I could sense my husband’s patience waning from the waiting area. Yet, as the conversation with the manager unfolded, my initial nervousness faded, replaced by a surge of excitement about the opportunities that lay ahead. The manager was thorough, explaining not only the responsibilities of my new role but also the company’s vision and culture, which resonated deeply with my own professional aspirations.

My husband, meanwhile, tried to stay occupied, flipping through magazines and occasionally glancing over to see if we were still talking. He knew how important this opportunity was for me, and despite the long wait, he was supportive.
