Sophie is initially thrilled to have her husband’s cousin, Mark, stay with them while he looks for a job in the city. However, Mark’s silent, intense gaze and constant presence make her increasingly uncomfortable. He rarely speaks, but his eyes seem to follow her every move. Sophie’s anxiety peaks when she finds Mark in their bedroom late one night, claiming he was just looking for a bathroom. Her husband, Tom, is quick to dismiss her concerns, thinking she’s overreacting. Desperate to feel safe, Sophie starts to investigate Mark’s background and finds alarming information about his past behavior. When she confronts Mark, he becomes menacing, leading to a harrowing confrontation that forces Sophie to fight for her safety.
