Yesterday, I decided to surprise my mistress with a romantic dinner at a new restaurant. As we walked in, I saw my boss sitting at a table with a young woman. My heart raced, fearing he’d recognize me. I quickly told my mistress we needed to leave, and she stormed out, angry. Out of frustration, I accidentally knocked over a vase, spilling water everywhere.
The next day at work, I noticed my boss was in a foul mood. Trying to act casual, I asked, “What’s wrong? You seem upset.”
He sighed heavily, “Can you believe it? Yesterday, someone knocked over a vase at the restaurant and ruined my expensive shoes! What a disaster.”
