The Unexpected Visit

Spread the love
It was an ordinary afternoon when the doorbell rang, and to my surprise, it was my husband’s friend standing there. My husband wasn’t home, but because I am a respectable woman, I welcomed him inside. I showed him generosity by offering him food and tea, making sure he felt comfortable.

As we sat in the living room, he expressed his gratitude for the hospitality. We chatted about various topics, from current events to shared memories with my husband. He seemed genuinely pleased with the company and the warm meal I had prepared.

Before he left, I noticed he seemed troubled. Sensing his unease, I asked if everything was alright. He opened up about some personal issues he was facing. I listened attentively and offered words of encouragement and support. By the time he left, he seemed much lighter and happier. It was fulfilling to know that my simple acts of kindness had made a difference in his day.
