But time after time Costco’s generous return policy makes its way into the spotlight, and somehow each instance baffles the internet more than the last. The most recent, shared on TikTok, has many questioning the morality of returning an item at Costco.

A woman has gone viral after proudly proclaiming she returned a couch to Costco two and a half years after she purchased it.

Jackie Nguyen shared her story on TikTok.

In her video, Nguyen takes viewers along for the ride as she returns the nearly three-year-old couch to the warehouse club.

She explained she was “nervous” bringing such a large item back to the store, but “we got it from Costco.”

After going inside she mentioned “a lot of people” staring at her, but it didn’t matter because of the store’s “awesome return policy.”
